Problem Note 43561: Cubes with supplied time hierarchies might not be available for incremental updates from SAS® OLAP Cube Studio

In order to incrementally update cubes using SAS OLAP Cube Studio, the level name in the cube must match the column name from the source data. However, when a supplied hierarchy is used for a time dimension using a single date column, it is implicit that the level names do not match the input column. As a result, you will likely see an error similar to the following in SAS OLAP Cube Studio:
The table "libname.tablename" cannot be used to update the cube. The table does not contain the same columns as the table originally used to build the cube.
This limitation only applies when using SAS OLAP Cube Studio. To use incremental updating in this situation, use PROC OLAP with the ADD_DATA and UPDATE_INPLACE options. For more information, see Updating a Cube In-Place.
